What drew you to advertising/social media?
I was drawn to advertising and social media in my first year at Butler University. I have always loved writing ever since I was little. Although I came to Butler undecided in what I wanted to do, I was able to take a class within the College of Communication and found my passion for thinking creatively and working directly with others. My love for being on a team and finding what makes companies unique is what I love most!
Who or what inspires you?
My friends and family are at the root of my inspiration. I am also extremely inspired by powerful women within the sports and marketing industry.
As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
As a child, I wanted to be a pediatrician because I wanted to work with others on a regular basis. I quickly found that my strengths were not with math or science and rather more with writing and communicating. My love then switched to wanting to be a writer of some kind.
What do you think about when you’re alone in your car?
When I am alone in my car, I often think about a lot of different things. Mainly what song I am going to play next! Other than that, I think about the various tasks I need to get done and fun times that I can look forward to when the weeks are long.
What is your most-used emoji?
My most used emoji is the red heart and celebration face with a party hat
What is a professional goal that you hope to accomplish in the next five years?
A professional goal that I hope to accomplish in the next 5 years is finding a stable job within the marketing industry. I hope to be doing what I love and working on a team that not only accomplishes its goals, but also has values that expand beyond the workdays such as family, friends, and living life to the fullest!
You can have anyone fictional as your imaginary friend, who do you choose and why?
The fictional character I would choose is Brooke Davis from One Tree Hill because she is an amazing friend and works hard and pushes others to do the same.
Would you rather meet your travel back in time to meet your ancestors or to the future to meet your descendants? Why?
I would love to travel back in time to meet my ancestors because I think it would be amazing to learn from them and meet those that have passed away. I think the future is scary but also I like anticipating the unknown possibilities.
If you could instantly be an expert in a subject, what would it be? Why?
If I could instantly be an expert in a subject it would be in the study of the brain and psychology. I think it would be so cool to understand people on a deeper level in this way.
What are you most excited for during your time with Burkhart?
I am most excited about being able to work in an agency setting. I am really eager to meet clients and expand myself to a wide range of demographics and different organizations. I love the feeling of variety and I think there are going to be so many chances to learn and grow in my marketing skills.
