Write in a journal about what’s going on right now. We are all living during a major point in history. We are all feeling down, frustrated and contempt for having to stay in place. However, it has been proven that writing your feelings down will help you understand them a lot better.
Read
Pick up anything and read! Reading takes you out of your present world and allows you to focus on the one in the pages. When you’re stuck inside all the time, you can start to feel a little lazy. Reading something will help your brain get back into action and improve your memory, your concentration, comprehension and much more.
Meditate or Do Yoga
For years, people have prized meditation and yoga as being a path to enlightenment. Why not use the time you have to get into that practice. Check Off Some To-Do’s
Is there a list somewhere either in your head or written down that you need to finish? Well, get started on some now! Checking off a list may not be considered fun or venturing into a new world, however, it will definitely aid in getting some things off your plate.
Exercise
Oh, exercising. Sometimes you want to do it and other times you want to sit on the couch binging on Netflix. Well, with a lot of us not going anywhere, that could lead to some health issues later on. Look up some fun workout videos on youtube or come up with your own routine! It’s best to keep moving when you feel cemented to the floor because it helps keep up your energy and releases those happy chemicals.
Learn a New Talent
Now, you don’t have to become an expert at it, but developing a new talent is a great way to pass time. Don’t give up if it gets to be a little hard because that’s just what happens at first with mostly anything you begin. Right now, I’m sure we are all feeling a strain on our hearts. We miss our people. If you have the ability to video chat, then we implore you to do so because even though we may not be able to touch them or hug them, just seeing the faces and hearing the voices of people you care about can be a fantastic pick-me-up.
