The new fall semester is here for students, and that means new fall interns for Burkhart! Lauren Bluthardt is our new Marketing Intern. Lauren is a senior at Butler University double majoring in Marketing and Management Information Systems. Below are some questions that we asked Lauren to get to know her better and see what she is excited about working on at Burkhart.
What drew you to advertising/marketing?
Technology and marketing go hand-in-hand and are two of my passions. As digital marketing continues to grow, the need for professionals who understand how to optimize new technology is more crucial than ever. It’s exciting to see how the marketing landscape is changing.
You’re a new addition to the crayon box. What color would you be and why?
If I was a new crayon, I would be the color Burnt Orange because I love the fall season.
Would you rather win the lottery or work at the perfect job?
Working the perfect job would make life more exciting and enjoyable. Having a work/life balance is key. The perfect job should allow you to follow your interests while making the most of life.
What do you think about when you’re alone in your car?
Usually listening to a Crime Junkie’s podcast and looking for the next Starbucks.
What is your most-used emoji?
The smiley face with the stars for eyes! 🤩
What is a professional goal that you hope to accomplish in the next five years?
Beginning my MBA journey to continue my goal of life-long learning and growth.
How would your friends/family describe you?
Driven and always ready for new challenges.

Half-full.

A tie between That ’70s Show and Friends.

White boots from the ’70s!
