Krystina is a senior at Butler University where she’s earning a degree in strategic communications. She is excited to work with clients and gain new marketing knowledge during her time here at Burkhart. Welcome to the family, Krystina! What drew you to advertising/social media?
I have always been drawn to advertising and social media ever since I was little. When deciding to come to Butler, I knew I wanted to further explore my passion for writing, team building and my communication skills. I love working with others and producing the best possible outcomes!
Who or what inspires you?
My family and friends inspire me the most! They push me to be the best I can be.
As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
As a child, I wanted to be a nurse because I love helping people and being a part of a team. I later realized I do not do good with blood and was not the best in science but shinned in creative writing and communications!
What do you think about when you’re alone in your car?
When I am alone in my car, I think about a lot of things. I really like music, so mainly what the meaning is behind the specific song I am listening to. I also catch myself thinking about what I will be making/eating for dinner that night.
What is your most-used emoji?
My most used emoji is the monkey 🐒
What is a professional goal that you hope to accomplish in the next five years?
A professional goal that I hope to accomplish in the next five years is finding a stable job within the marketing and PR Industry. I hope to love my job and still continue to learn and grow every day.
You can have anyone fictional as your imaginary friend, who do you choose and why?
The fictional character I would choose to be my imaginary friend would be Tami Taylor from the show Friday Night Lights. I’d pick her because she gives the best advice and is an amazing friend to everyone. She motivates the people around her and is very trustworthy.
Would you rather travel back in time to meet your ancestors or to the future to meet your descendants? Why?
I would travel back in time to learn from my family and others that have passed away. I love living my life in the moment, so having no idea what the future holds for me motivates me more.
If you could instantly be an expert in a subject, what would it be? Why?
Math because this is a subject I have never been great in, therefore, it would fulfill my math dream.
What are you most excited for during your time as an intern with Burkhart?
I am the most excited to learn how an agency operates. I am very excited to work with clients and gain new marketing knowledge throughout my time here!
