This semester has flown by, and my internship at Burkhart Marketing Partners has come to an end. My time as the Marketing & Integrated Advertising Intern has given me an immense amount of knowledge for my future. 

Internship Experiences

I was extremely excited to start this role because it was an agency setting. I had previous marketing experience from other internships but had never worked at an agency, so I looked forward to gaining this experience. 

My internship at Burkhart increased my knowledge of many topics like Google Analytics, Sprout Social, and Word Press. The Burkhart team also provided me with feedback on all my writing, which has really helped me improve my writing skills and techniques. 

I always felt very welcomed at Burkhart and that my opinions and ideas were wanted and accepted. I could also sit in on many client meetings and see the behind-the-scenes of how an agency runs. 

My Takeaways

I am walking away from my Burkhart internship with knowledge that I will continue to utilize throughout my future career and last year at IUPUI. Burkhart taught me how to utilize marketing platforms, improve my writing skills, and change my voice and writing style depending on what client and audience I am talking to. Thank you, Burkhart, for this fantastic experience!
