Intern Spotlight: Jillian Harrod

Team Burkhart would like to introduce Jillian Harrod, our marketing intern who will be with us this Fall! Jillian is a senior at Butler University who is majoring in Marketing, a field she has loved since she was young. If you didn’t have to sleep, what would you do with the extra time?

Cook or watch movies!

 

You’re a new addition to the crayon box. What color would you be and why?

A bubblegum pink (which probably already exists, oops) because it is always happy

 

What did you want to be when you grew up?

A hairdresser

 

What drew you to/kept you in advertising? (How did you choose it?)

When I was little, my cousin and I would run pretend companies and our favorite part was drawing logos and making ads. What kept me in was my experience at my past agency, Bright Blue.

 

Who would you most like to swap places with for a day?

Jeffree Star

 

Who or what inspires you?

My mom!

 

What is your most-used emoji?

The red heart… pretty basic

 

What do you feel prepared you most for life after college?

Studying abroad

 

What is a professional goal that you hope to accomplish in the next five years?

Get a full-time offer at a company that I am passionate about

“Cry Me a River” by Justin Timberlake

 

Who is your favorite superhero? Least favorite?

Fave is Batman (strictly Christian Bale) and my least fave is Aquaman simply because I haven’t seen the movie, and I heard it was awful.

Friends

 

What are you ready currently? What is your favorite book?

Currently, I am reading textbooks, but my favorite books are the Twilight Series books.

On a front porch with my friends or family on a summer night
