Reports to Senior Account Executive and Brand Strategist

SUMMARY:

The Account Coordinator is part of the Account Management team, working closely with all Agency disciplines and external partners to deliver superior marketing solutions that drive revenue.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Account Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Account Services team and Agency in the day-to-day activities for Clients and new business:

  • Assists in the preparation of project schedules and tasks in the project management system and any production/client facing timelines
  • Responsible for developing and implementing the Burkhart Marketing social media calendars (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn)
  • Opens new projects or jobs, enters schedules and estimates in Project Management system
  • Confirms and updates all Client information in Project Management system
  • Assists in facilitating monthly billing/reconciliation/invoicing with their respective clients
  • Compiles and analyzes monthly client reporting (digital or other reports as needed)
  • Conducts research and ad-hoc projects to support client initiatives as needed
  • Assists in updates to the Burkhart Marketing website (based on knowledge set)
  • Assists in creative briefings as needed
  • Assists in client presentations as needed
  • Assists in the preparation of New Business presentations and research as needed
  • Prepares materials for internal and external meetings as needed

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, advertising, marketing or a related field required
  • 0-2 years’ relevant experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent web research skills
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, multi-tasker
  • Strong time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite preferred
  • Strong client-service orientation
  • Flexible to evolving responsibilities and last-minute changes
  • Team player
  • Experience in Hootsuite a plus

  • Major in advertising, communications, marketing, media, digital/interactive media, public relations, strategic communication
  • Experience with Apple technology, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite
  • Passion for learning and contributing
  • Knowledge of WordPress and Hootsuite preferred
  • Strong Communication Skills
