Reports to: Account Executive

The Account Coordinator is part of the Account Management team, working closely with all Agency disciplines and external partners to deliver superior marketing solutions that drive revenue.

Responsibilities:

The Account Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Account Services team and Agency in the day-to-day activities for Clients and new business:

  • Assists in the preparation of project budgets/estimates as requested
  • Assists in the preparation of project schedules and tasks in project management system and any production/client facing timelines
  • Responsible for developing and implementing the Burkhart Marketing social media calendars (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram)
  • Opens new projects or jobs, enters schedules and estimates in Project Management system
  • Confirms and updates all Client information in Project Management system
  • Facilitates monthly billing/reconciliation/and invoicing with their respective clients
  • Updates and attends weekly internal Status Reports
  • Compiles and analyzes monthly client reporting (digital or other reports as needed)
  • Conducts research and ad-hoc projects to support client initiatives as needed
  • Updates the Burkhart Marketing website (based on knowledge set)
  • Assists in creative briefings as needed
  • Assists in client presentations as needed
  • Assists in preparation of New Business presentations as needed
  • Prepares materials for internal and external meetings as needed

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, advertising, marketing or related field required
  • 0-2 years’ relevant experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent web research skills
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, multi-tasker
  • Strong time management skills

Burkhart Marketing is seeking a production-oriented graphic design graduate to create excellent visual communications that meet the objectives of our clients. The ideal candidate will have recently obtained a college degree and have a strong desire to expand their creative and graphic design skills in an agency setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, produce and proof creative concepts/layouts for print and digital materials such as magazines, out of home, packaging, digital banners and collateral
  • Strategize and create social media content for agency and client platforms
  • Build messaging in variety of styles, voices and tones, adaptable to different target audiences, product categories and branding initiatives
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy in the projects assigned. Check all elements and requested changes before presenting to the Creative Director for review
  • Collaborate with account and creative departments to assess needs, establish timelines for projects and coordinate production as needed
  • Create effective design solutions and accurate art files. Projects should be completed within the requested deadlines
  • Maintain a high level of creativity, conceptualizing and executing concepts/artwork that display graphic excellence with special attention to meeting the clients’ objectives and strategies
  • Maintain a high level of awareness of graphic standards and legal requirements associated with each client
  • Provide accurate time and cost estimates for each creative project assigned
  • Participate in new business efforts as needed

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in visual communication, graphic design or related field required
  • 0-2 years’ experience
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator) required
  • Experience with HTML design and animation preferred
  • iOS operating platform experience a must
  • Understanding of printing process, photography, illustration and typography
  • Ability to develop internet, television and radio productions and conduct press checks preferred
